Scholarship winners are invited to May installation banquet. Farmingbury woman’s Club pays for scholarship winner and  1  adult guest dinner.

 

Present scholarship winner with certificate and tell them to come to award night to get scholarship.

AT Installation dinner Education Chairman introduces winners to club with a brief bio. and where they will go to college.

Kind News newspaper

 

Kindnews is published by GFWC. It is a monthly newspaper for use in the classroom. Classroom teacher receives 30 copies to be distributed to class. It comes in 3 reading levels for elementary school children.

Farmingbury tries to have a teacher from each elementary school.

 

Books Donated in Memory

 

Farmingbury WC donates a book ($25 donation) to Wolcott Library upon the death of a member, member’s spouse, mother, father, child. Or upon the birth of a member’s child.

 

 

 

GFWC/CT scholarships for women in college. Each club can nominate one candidate. Information about this is in Redbook that each club president has.
